China Pavilion: 2318 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13219 – (315) 488-2828
The food here is very good! In fact, they have dim sum… I believe it’s one day per week, as is common for places with dim sum… it may be Sunday, call to check. As aficionados of that treat know, this generally automatically means you have a higher quality level than the average Chinese restaurant. Bonus – the family running the Pavillion is very friendly!
China Road: 2204 Brewerton Road, Mattydale, NY 13211 – (315) 455-5888
This has been the premier Chinese place for a long time in this area, even given the often good quality of many smaller Chinese restaurants. Friendly staff, good authentic food! Having said that, we had some mixed reviews on the previous version of this blog. Let us know how you make out.
