Everything seemed pre-packaged and processed, and even a bit on the "stale" side. It was definitely not what real Middle Eastern food should represent, in terms of nuanced fresh flavors. It also seemed rather dirty and dingy in there, as if no one had dusted the place in years. I had to order another beer to wash down the slightly acrid baba ghanoush. We didn't complain or anything; we actually felt sorry for them. I would say that it is as bad as the other equally filthy and subpar pseudo-Middle Eastern place on Marshal street.
